Why have we chosen this specific cruise?
Alaska is one of our favorite places, and we want to share the most that we can! This extended itinerary features things that you just don't find on 7-night cruises. We've got full-day port calls in classic stops like Ketchikan & Skagway, as well as lesser visited gems like Sitka & Icy Strait Point, plus a full day in Victoria rather than just the traditional quick technical stop. We've chosen mid May into early June because it's one of our favorite times to see whales in Icy Strait Point typically just before they move away from town, with a decent chance of bubble net feeding humpbacks and possibly some early season orcas. We've chosen NCL because their Alaska group rates and perks are better than most anyone else's that we've seen for 2028, and we're always looking for value received versus the price tag, since Alaska is not an inexpensive place to experience!
How does NCL's "Free At Sea" work?
With NCL's "Free At Sea" package, you receive a beverage plan and four-meal specialty dining plan by paying just the service gratuities for the bar & dining staff. Service gratuity amounts are USD $256.50 9-day/$285.00 10-day ($28.50 per day) per person for the drink plan and USD $80.00 ($20.00 per meal) per person for the dining plan, and you can choose to add either one or both options to your booking, or leave it off completely.
NCL also offers an optional "Free At Sea Plus" upgrade which adds premium drink options, Starbucks, and bottled water to your plan, as well as unlimited wi-fi (one device per person) and pre-paid crew gratuities (USD $20 per person per day value), at an additional cost of USD $49.99 per person per day.

Cabin Types & Group Rates
Book by September 28, 2026 to lock in these group rates! After that date, our group discount changes and cabin rates increase by 5%-10% depending on the cabin type.
All bookings receive $100 onboard credit per cabin as a group bonus, which is automatically attached to the primary guest that you choose to have listed on the reservation. All bookings also receive 150 minutes of wi-fi per person, plus a USD $50 shore excursion credit per cabin.
